Originally from opposite ends of the country, Ariel and Micah Keller have been working together in Washington for over 10 years. Their collective experience with large-scale interior design projects and international business provide them with a unique skill set, knowledge base, and network to navigate their clients’ most intricate real estate endeavors.
Ariel is originally from San Diego and graduated from Washington State University's School of Design + Construction with a degree in Interior Design. During her time at university, she spent time learning from the masters in Paris in Florence through WSU's study abroad programs. After graduation, Ariel was recruited by the boutique hospitality design firm Dawson Design + Associates in Seattle and was tasked with providing conceptual design for all their major projects. Through DDA, Ariel was able to experience firsthand the business implications associated with good design. With DDA, Ariel was able to work on projects in Nashville, Miami, Bermuda, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Portland. While working with DDA, Ariel yearned to work on projects outside the hospitality scope of the firm and decided to embark on starting her own firm that would bring good design to any interior design project she felt compelled to take on. In 2018, Ariel spent 9 months in Shanghai designing 2 lavish residences and 1 enormous shared co-working space.
Micah is originally from Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business in 2009 with a focus on Entrepreneurship. While enrolled at the university, he sold men's shoes at the Flagship Nordstrom downtown Seattle where he learned to work with and serve a diverse collection of people. During this time he was able to experience firsthand Nordstrom's legendary customer service and honed his skills in excellent communication and client satisfaction. Upon graduation, he secured a position with a hydroponics manufacturing company that took him to China for two years, where he worked for an American company as a Business Relations Manager. In 2012 when he returned from China, Micah joined Nordstrom again ans was quickly recruited into management. Ultimately, he grew into the corporate office where he led their Competitive Intelligence division as a Senior Analyst.
In 2015, Ariel and Micah married at sunset on the pier at Golden Gardens Park in Ballard, Seattle. Their adventures together eventually led them across the state, where they have been growing their interior design firm, 27 West Design Co., and purchased their first home; a magnificent 1907 farmhouse “fixer upper” in the heart of charming Prosser. They are passionate about finding the best solutions for their clients and take pride in providing an un-paralleled level of service and attention to detail.
When they're not working, they enjoy traveling together, spending time with family, savoring local Washington state wines and local produce, and chasing around their silly dogs, Stella and Sugar Bear.
